Control and realization of hollow rotating platform

Time:2020-10-31    Edit by ZhuoChuang

The hollow rotating platform can be used in a variety of rotating motion applications, and is a series of planetary servo reducers. It has high work efficiency, high cost performance, careful load, easy motor configuration, and can also be equipped with AC servo motor or stepping motor for arbitrary viewpoint cutting. Because it can greatly fluctuate and reduce costs, it replaces the use of DD motors and cam cutters in the factory. The main performance is that the repeated positioning can reach about 5 seconds, which can satisfy the variable position control and positioning accuracy that traditional cam cutters cannot achieve. It is also comparable to the US DD motor.

The multi-station rotating table driven by the hollow rotating platform is used in the automated production line, which can overcome the shortcomings of the cutter or pneumatic indexing table, the number of stations, the rotation point of view, and the immutability of the rotation direction.

It can also prevent the long transmission time between stations of the traditional horizontal assembly line, the inability to accurately locate, and the large space occupation.

The hollow rotating platform controls and realizes the four-station rotating table. With the man-machine interface, the device can complete any rotation direction and any position adjustment function, simple installation and more flexible operation.

Control and realization of hollow rotating platform such as:

The equipment uses a human-machine interface (HMI) as a display and data interaction component, type GC-4401W, the touch screen also has a higher cost performance. Through the interface, parameters such as rotation direction, speed, and viewpoint of each station can be set.

Taking the four-station equipment as an example, the positioning-type dedicated Panasonic PLC: AFPX-C30T is selected as the manipulator. This PLC has 4-axis pulse drive output (2-axis 100kHz, 2-axis 20kHz), low cost and high cost performance.

The orientation recognition sensor is used to detect whether each station is in place or not, and can feedback the rotated station information to the PLC to form a closed-loop control system.
